Full Day Tour: Sacred Valley of the Incas

This comprehensive journey through the Sacred Valley of the Incas is designed to showcase the architectural mastery and vibrant culture of the Andes. We begin with a pickup from your hotel at 09:00 a.m. to explore the breathtaking landscapes along the Urubamba River.
01. Pisac: Archeology & Traditional Market Our first stop is the Inca Citadel of Pisac, perched high above the valley with impressive agricultural terraces. After the guided tour, we visit the Pisac Traditional Market. This is the perfect place to observe local customs, admire authentic handicrafts, and practice your bargaining skills with local artisans.
02. Urubamba & Ollantaytambo Fortress We continue along the Vilcanota River to Urubamba for a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we explore the Ollantaytambo Fortress, a massive Inca administrative and military center. Walk through its original Inca streets and discover how this site served as a strategic guardian against jungle invasions.
03. Chinchero: The Royal Hacienda & Textiles On our return to Cusco, we visit the picturesque village of Chinchero. Here, you will admire the well-preserved Inca walls at the main square and visit a beautiful colonial temple built upon the foundations of the Royal Hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui. You’ll also learn about the famous traditional textile weaving process.
Return to Cusco: We arrive back in the city around 07:00 p.m. and drop you off at your hotel.

09:00 AM – Hotel Pickup: We begin the day with a private pickup from your hotel in Cusco to start our journey toward the Sacred Valley.

10:30 AM – Pisac Archaeological Site: Our first stop is the impressive Inca citadel of Pisac. You will enjoy a guided tour of its terraces and ancient stone constructions while taking in panoramic views of the valley.

11:45 AM – Pisac Traditional Market: We head down to the colonial town of Pisac to visit its famous Indian Market. This is a great time to learn about local customs and shop for authentic Andean handicrafts.

01:30 PM – Buffet Lunch in Urubamba: We travel along the Vilcanota River to the town of Urubamba, where we will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch featuring local flavors at a traditional restaurant.

03:30 PM – Ollantaytambo Fortress: We explore the magnificent Fortress of Ollantaytambo. We will walk through its original Inca streets and climb the monumental terraces that once protected the valley from jungle invasions.

05:30 PM – Chinchero Village: On our way back to Cusco, we stop at Chinchero. We will visit the royal hacienda of Tupac Inca Yupanqui and the beautiful colonial temple built on Inca foundations. You will also see a demonstration of traditional textile weaving.
