On this tour, you will get to know two of the most fascinating sites of the region of Cusco: the sacred valley of the Incas and one of the new Seven Wonders of the World, Machu Picchu! First, you make a tour to the sacred valley of the Incas, a former important habitat for the inhabitants of the Inca Empire where you will visit the Inca ruins of Pisaq and Ollantaytambo. After the sacred valley of the Incas Tour, the journey will lead us to Machu Picchu, probably the most important sight in Peru in the heart of the mountains. You will have a guided tour of Machu Picchu and walk through narrow paths, residences, and temples and between impressive stone walls if desired also climb Mt. Huayna Picchu, the young mountain to enjoy an amazing panoramic view of the Inca City.

We do not include the entrance fee to the archaeological site of Ollantaytambo because we recommend to purchase the tourist ticket “Boleto Turistico General” which is valid for 10 days and allows entry to many museums in Cuscoand the majority of the Inca sites around and the Sacred Valley.
A full tourist ticket costs S/.130.00 (USD 45) or S/.70 (USD 25.00) for students with a valid Student/ISIC card. This is the best option if you plan to visit more of the archaeological sites and museums in Cusco and the Sacred Valley anyway. If you do not want or need the “BoletoTurístico General” there is the option to purchase the “BoletoTurístico Partial” which costs S/.70 / USD 25 and is valid for one day for the visit of Pisaq and Ollantaytambo.
