For this beautiful place we organize tour every day, travelers must have at least one day of acclimatization in Cusco, this is a prerequisite since it is ascending up to 4200 meters.

Itinerary Details: Humantay Lake 1-Day Hike
Your adventure begins with a hotel pickup between 4:45 a.m. and 5:00 a.m., followed by a 2-hour scenic drive through the Limatambo Valley, with stunning views of the majestic Salkantay Glacier.
We will stop in Mollepata (2,900 m / 9,514 ft) for a nutritious breakfast before continuing for 45 minutes to Soraypampa (3,900 m / 12,795 ft). After a brief Andean ritual to honor the mountains, we will begin a 1.5 to 2-hour uphill hike to the breathtaking Humantay Lake (4,200 m / 13,780 ft). You will have ample time to enjoy the turquoise waters and take photos before a 1-hour descent back to Soraypampa. Finally, we will return to Mollepata for a delicious buffet lunch and head back to Cusco, arriving between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.
For this hike we organize tours every day, for this reason we recommend the passengers stay at least one whole day in Cusco to Acclimatize, this is a prerequisite to go on this tour because you start to walk over 4250mts (12891 fts) and the summit is over 5020mts (16469 fts).
